SLASH SUPERSTOCK RULES

Traxxas Slash 2WD short course truck; low COG chassis; all stock parts in stock locations 

 

AL caps and RPM bearing carriers optional; must run LCG front and stock rear springs, uncut 

 

Full body stock car body made for Slash or Short Course Truck; suitable body mount kit 

 

1.5” maximum rear spoiler 

 

Hobbywing Justock 13.5T combo (ESC/motor) with 26T/86T Gearing OR   

Bl2-S (ESC/motor) with 22/86 Gearing

 

Mudboss rules for servo, battery, and tires 

  
 

Intent 

 

This is a SPEC class. The rules define every modification or alternative part that is allowed. All other modifications and parts are NOT allowed. 


 

Chassis 

  • TRAXXAS 2wd Slash LCG Chassis, no modifications allowed 

  • Traxxas Slash HD parts are permitted

  • Legal option parts: Traxxas aluminum shock caps; RPM bearing carriers F/R; body mount kit from McAllister, Proline, or equivalent

  • All parts must be present and in stock location, except: receiver box and gear cover may be removed; stock front bumper may be inverted 

  • Battery brace can be trimmed to allow different LiPo battery wire configurations


 

Electronics 

  • HobbyWing Justock 13.5T combo (ESC/motor) with 86T or 90T spur gear is required, any pinion allowed

  • Bl2-S (ESC/motor) 86T or 90T spur required, any pinion is allowed

  • Servo must comply with Salvas Mudboss rules: TRX2075, optionally with Savox metal gears; SAVOX SC-0252MG 

  • Any servo horn or servo saver 


 

Suspension 

  • Stock Traxxas Slash shocks in stock locations; stock Slash springs rear, LCG springs front; any fluids; any internal limiters 

  • One blue bump stop may be used on each rear shock shaft; no front bump stops 


 

Battery 

  • Battery must comply with Salvas Mudboss rules: max 5200 mAh/50C; any connector, no bullets 


 

Tires 

  • Traxxas Slash off-road tires on Traxxas wheels; any tread and compound 

  • Same tread pattern on all four corners; main tread pattern must be visible across the width of the tire 

  • Any combination of gray and black wheel hexes; any combination of front and rear Slash wheel offset 


 

Body 

  • Molded full body stock car made for Traxxas Slash or SCT Only: McAllister, Shark or equivalent 

  • Windows must remain intact, bumpers must be present (follow cut line in rear) 

  • Maximum 1.5” rear spoiler height from deck, no end caps allowed, base of spoiler cannot hang off the rear deck
